As an endurance athlete and mountaineer it is very
important to me to share my love of running, mountaineering and wild
places. Having always had a love of reading and writing, it
has been natural to turn to the written word as a medium for sharing my
passions.
My background is in environmental science with a professional career as a polar oceanograher. Having studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge University and with a PhD in physical oceanography I have a wide experience of scientific writing. I now combine freelance writing projects with my life as an endurance athlete.
